In October of my first year of law school, a counsellor explained to me I was suffering from anxiety and depression. I knew something was very wrong, but I didn't know what was going on or where to turn.

Learn More About JustBalanceStudent Stories
The competitive culture of law school made it hard to admit I was struggling. Once I found resources and people who understood, everything changed. You are not alone in this.
I wish I had known earlier that asking for help was not a sign of weakness. JustBalance helped me realise that maintaining balance is what makes great lawyers — not ignoring the hard parts.
